Winter 2014 Registration

When to register
 

Providence Student Leaders and Senior Students

  • Access begins November 18, and ends December 20

New and Returning Students

  • Access begins November 18, and ends December 20


Registration will close at 12:00 midnight of the day specified for each group. Students who have not registered by that time will need to complete their registration during the course change period (January 6-27) and late registration fees may apply.  For the Winter 2014 semester, the student portal may be used to add or drop courses between January 6 and 20 as well.  Students are encouraged to register online as soon as possible to ensure they can register for limited enrollment courses.  

Students should be aware of the University College Winter 2014 course change policy:

  • Deadline to add or drop courses (using the student portal) without a fee: January 20, 2014
  • Deadline to add or drop courses (using a paper course change form in the Registrar's Office) with a fee: extended to January 29, 2014
  • Deadline to voluntarily withdraw from a Winter 2014 course (University College only): March 17, 2014

Where to register

Students can register from any computer with internet access. Log in to the Providence Student Portal at https://prov.ca/NetClassroom7/. For your convenience, there is a web kiosk available in the Registrar's Office on the Providence campus during regular business hours, 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Office staff will be available to guide you through the online registration process.

Students who wish to register for an online course, directed or independent study course, or a practicum or internship should visit the Distance Education section of our website.  It is not possible to register for online, directed/independent or practicum/internship courses via the Providence Student Portal.


Who can register? 

You must be a current student, returning student or accepted student to register. If you believe you should be eligible to register and the registration option is not listed in your “Classes” menu in your Student Portal during the correct dates, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
