Providence's Breakaway event is a great opportunity for prospective students in Grades 10-12 to experience Providence by staying on campus for a full day or overnight.  At Breakaway, you get the whole Providence experience as you get to meet the students and faculty, sit in on lectures, eat in the cafeteria and experience first-hand what it's like being a student at Providence. 

Whether you are planning on attending Providence, or whether you are curious about what we have to offer, we would love to have you here!


(For those that are unable to stay overnight, feel free to arrive at 8:00 am on Friday morning. Staying overnight is not required.)


5:00 PM - Shuttle Leaves from Old Navy Parking Lot at St. Vital Mall (for those that need ride from Winnipeg)

6:00 PM - Registration & Pizza Dinner in Student Life Centre (Providence)

8:00 PM - Exciting Evening Activities: Coffee House and Group Games

9:00 PM - Soccer ID Camp


8:00 AM - Breakfast and Announcements in Student Life Centre

8:30 AM - 11:10 AM - Options

  • Meet with an Enrollment Officer

11:10 AM - Chapel

12:00 - 12:40 PM - Lunch with Professors

12:40 - 3:20 PM - Options

  • Harv's Air Tour (Aviation)

3:20 PM - Packing and Check-out

4:00 PM - Wpg. shuttle leaves from Providence for Old Navy Parking Lot (St. Vital Mall) arriving at 5 PM.

Need a ride from Winnipeg?
There is a free shuttle available from Winnipeg to Providence. Meet at the St. Vital Mall in the Old Navy Parking Lot before 5:00 pm on Thursday. We will return you to the same location on Friday at 5:00 pm. Please call or email to confirm shuttle service.
