Take the First Step

The Enrollment Office is at your service to answer all your questions and help you through the process of applying. If you are planning to continue your studies at Providence University College or Seminary after English language training, please complete the University College or Seminary application at the links below. Otherwise, you will be required to re-apply for the University College or Seminary when you have completed course work in the ELI, and therefore required to pay an additional Application Fee.

If you are planning on attending Providence to only study English in our English for Academic Purposes program please follow the steps below:

  1. Download the EAP Program Application Form

  2. Complete the application form carefully and completely:

    1. Give the Reference Form to a teacher, pastor, or employer to fill out; and fax or mail it back to Providence.

    2. Complete the Providence Housing Request Form.

  3. If your first language is not English, you must submit an official English (TOEFL) test score before arriving at Providence.  Please have the Educational Testing Service forward your TOEFL results to Providence University College and Seminary using code 6585.  You can also e-mail, fax, or mail your results to the International Enrollment Counsellor with your application form. 

  4. Include the $150.00 CAD non-refundable International Application Fee. Payment may be made in one of the following ways:

    1. Secure on-line payment using Mastercard or Visa, by clicking here.

    2. Make a Bank Draft in Canadian funds, payable to Providence University College and Seminary.

    3. Interbank Wire Transfer information may be requested from the Enrollment Office

  5. Mail, scan/email or fax the completed application form to the address or fax number below.  If you are submitting your application by fax, please mail or scan/email your two passport photographs to the Enrollment Office.

  6. Request an official transcript of your academic work from your high school or post-secondary institution. This transcript must be sent directly to Providence by your institution. Give Providence's mailing address to them.  If the transcript is in a language other than English, it must be translated prior to mailing.  

  7. Wait for Providence to review your application. Once the Admissions Committee approves your application, Providence will ask you to forward a $500.00 CAD deposit. This confirmation of enrollment deposit will be held in trust, and it will be transferred to your student account.  

  8. Upon receipt of the $500.00 payment, Providence will issue two letters to you.  One is your Acceptance Letter, and the other is a letter for Canada Immigration Officials in your country. This is to assist you in obtaining your study permit.
