Summer TESOL Institute
The TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) program equips those who wish to meet the growing need in North America and around the world for English Teachers. The Summer TESOL Institute provides opportunity for TESOL degree and certificate students to complete up to six courses during the Summer Institute, towards completion of their program.
The TESOL certificate can be obtained by following one of the schedule tracks listed below:
- Model A - Standard semester schedule during fall/winter.
- Model B - Summer intensive schedule, combined with fall/winter courses.
TESOL Certificate (Model B - Summer Intensive)
The TESOL Certificate consists of 30 credit hrs. of which 15 credit hrs. can be completed within one summer. Gain a semester's worth of credits in only 4 Weeks! The remaining courses can be taken during the fall or winter semsters, or if you have already completed comparable courses at another institution, these courses may be transferred in as credit.
Summer 2013 – Summer Intensive (July 22, 2013 – August 16, 2013)
Modules run for four weeks, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

- 400.00 Field education [fulfilled by Practicum II] *
* The practicum and field education credits are included in the cost of Summer TESOL, but are completed after summer intensive classes.

Costs
Summer TESOL Institute
Tuition: $2,700 (15 credit hrs.)
Summer Student Fees: $100
Room & Board (Optional): $675 Four weeks; includes bedding and $5 key deposit
Deposit: Non-refundable deposit of $300 or full payment due at time of registration. Full payment required two weeks prior to course start date
