University Programs Accepting MANY Providence Courses
Architecture - 30 credit hours
Requires a mixture of Arts and Sciences, all of which are possible at Providence. Students should be careful to do both the math and writing requirements, and should plan to do the Environmental Design course at U of M during the U of M Intersession. U of M web page
Denistry - 30 plus 30 credit hours
Students could do the first 30 credit hours at Providence as they are largely electives and English. The second 30 credit hours would need to be done at U of M as many are Sciences. U of M web page
Education
Requires a recognized undergraduate degree that meets the requirements for both breadth and teachable subjects in a major and a minor. Details for entrance into the various tracks (Early Years, Middle Years, and Senior Years) are available at the U of M web page. U of M web page
Environment, Earth and Resources - 24-30 credit hours
As there is no specification of courses other than University level, all can be done at Providence. U of M web page
Human Ecology - 24-30 credit hours
Students need 24-30 credit hours from both Arts and Sciences with a minimum of 6 credit hours of Science. All are available at Providence. U of M web page
Law - 60 credit hours
These 60 credit hours can be from any university level degree program. All 60 (two years of full-time study) could be done at Providence. U of M web page
Management
Students enter by several different tracks. While there is considerable flexibility regarding which courses are accepted, high grades are important. Consult the U of M web page for details. U of M web page
Music
Students directly out of high school or University One are admitted on the basis of an audition. U of M web page
Nursing - 39 credit hours
Requires Arts and Sciences courses, which Providence offers. Consult the U of M web page for details. U of M web page
Science - minimum 24 credit hours
Any selection of university level courses is accepted as transferable. U of M web page
Social Work - 30 or 51 credit hours
Social work requires 30 or 51 (Advanced Standing) credit hours of university level courses such as the transferable courses offered by Providence. Students can complete the fully accredited U of M Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in two or three years depending upon whether or not they qualify for Advanced Standing. U of M web page

University Programs Accepting LIMITED Providence Courses
Art - 30 credit hours*
Students apply to Fine Arts on the basis of performance in Introductory Art classes and the production of a portfolio. Other first year subjects could be taken at Providence. U of M web page
Dental Hygiene - 30 credit hours*
Providence teaches all but the 9 credit hours of Chemistry and Zoology. U of M web page
Medical Rehabilitation - 30 credit hours*
Providence teaches all but the 6 credit hours of Biology/Zoology required of the 30 credit hours required for entrance. U of M web page
Pharmacy - 30 credit hours*
Providence teaches all but Chemistry (6) and Biology (6). U of M web page
*for the above faculties, Providence courses can be supplemented with courses that could be taken at U of M during the summer or intersession.

Agriculture - minimum 24 credit hours
Providence offers Economics (6 credit hours), Mathematics (6 credit hours), and the electives (3 credit hours), but does not offer Agriculture (9 credit hours), Biology (6 credit hours), or Chemistry (6 credit hours). U of M web page

Medicine
While Providence provides the required 18 credit hours in Humanities and Social Sciences, preparation for the MCAT is best facilitated by studying science in a university setting. U of M web page
Physical Education
