We have found in our 1st-year classes that freshmen come to class eager to discuss business ethics issues. They want to talk about:

  • globalization
  • sweatshops
  • the relationship between business and the environment
  • the obligations of business to society
  • management and human resources policies in the fast food industry

The catch is, they don't know these are issues of business ethics; they're simply things they care about. That passion comes both from their own beliefs, and from their experiences.

We have developed lesson plans on addressing these business ethics issues in class. They can be used in:

  • world & social studies
  • history
  • reasoning & critical thinking
  • ethics
