“If I could have said it, I wouldn’t have sung it.” - Marian Anderson
The Providence Chamber Singers is a 16-voice ensemble carefully selected to offer high quality concerts. Under the direction of Dr. David Sawatzky, the singers have worked hard to prepare an acappella repertoire of various styles, eras, and genres. This ensemble demonstrates outstanding leadership in worship and ministry, providing music that will uplift, challenge and inspire their listeners.
For high school and community audiences, the singers will also include some high quality secular repertoire.
This year, the Providence Chamber Singers would like to invite you to consider sponsoring them for their service and performance tour to Brazil, April 28 – May 14, 2014. The tour will center around the Retreat Centre owned and operated by Karl and Kim Enns in Foraleza, Brazil. During this opportunity, the choir will perform in a variety of church venues, share
“The performance was perfect! Perfect in every aspect. I believe it was more than suitable for any church. We were speechless during the service, yet we could not stop talking about how beautiful it was after. When you sing with passion for Christ, it can draw tears to one’s eyes, and it did.” – Maranatha Reformed Church, Wainfleet, Ontario
