Performing Arts

There are numerous performance opportunities in Music  and Theatre open to all students at Providence University College.  These opportunities are managed by the Music Department and the Theatre Department.  Both areas have large and small performance groups some of which are audition-based, and some which are classroom-based. All these ensembles perform at the college and some participate in tours that perform in various venues across Canada, the USA and the United Kingdom.

Chamber Singers Brazil Tour (May 2014)

The students of the Providence Chamber Singers would like to invite you to consider sponsoring them for their concert / ministry tour to Brazil, April 28 – May 14, 2014. During this wonderful opportunity the students will perform in a variety of church venues, share personal faith experiences and stories with local youth, and share their musical talents through various service opportunities. Sharing our gift of music through cross-cultural exchanges such as this seeks to broaden the world view of our students, and gives them an opportunity to be a witness for Christ in a culture other than their own. We would like you to share in this endeavor by donating to the total cost of this trip. Tax receipts will be issued for donations.
