Providence Theological SeminaryLast updated January 28, 2013 FULL-TIME TEACHING POSITION COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGYProvidence Theological Seminary invites applications for a full-time teaching position in Counselling Psychology, which begins July 2013. Providence Seminary is fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools. The two-year M.A. in Counselling, three-year M.A. in Counselling Psychology, and the M.Div. with a Counselling Track are available in on-campus study at Otterburne (MB), and at the Ambrose Extension site (Calgary, AB). An innovative Distance Education format also offers courses in one-week modules, on-line courses, and directed studies. Faculty duties include teaching, supervising practica and internship experiences, and advising students. The successful candidate will possess or be pursuing an appropriate doctoral degree. She or he will have effective communication and interpersonal skills, clinical counselling experience, and a willingness to serve as a collaborative team member on a faculty committed to the tasks of theological education and professional training. The Providence Faculty teaches a breadth of counselling models while being committed to the integration of theology and counselling psychology.
