Welcome to Providence College and Seminary's Career Services Department.
The purpose of the Career Services Department is to provide students and alumni with the confidence and ability to build themselves meaningful careers. We do this by offering training in resume and cover letter writing, networking, job searching, self-assessment and interview skills. We also offer help in finding careers and internships through events like the Career Options Day and Internship Fair.
We offer current job posting sites on our website as well as two bulletin boards on campus for displaying employment listings.
We provide access and assistance regarding various employment services:
- Job Search Assistance - access to employment resources and opportunities
- Resume Preparation - resume preparation and critique
- Career Counselling - guidance and assistance in identifying career options
- Career Exploration - assistance in labor market research
- Placement Assistance for Graduate Students - aid in finding career employment
- Employment Seminars - workshops and seminars on various employment topics
- Graduate School Search - graduate school opportunities and scholarships
In addition to these services we also have numerous resource books and employment-related handouts available from our campus office.
