Residence Bursary

Providence is steadfast in our commitment to a residential, co-curricular environment that enhances and deepens the academic and faith communities.  Residence life is a vital extension of the classroom experience and an important component of the educational process.  You may be eligible to receive a Residence Bursary if you live in Bergen, Eichhorst, Sweet or Kindred. The Residence Bursary will be awarded, provided the recipient is registered at Providence University College for 9 or more credit hours per semester.

Returning students who have completed:

  • 24-53 credit hours – receive $700 credit towards the cost of residency
  • 54+ credit hours – receive  $1,400 credit towards the cost of residency

Disbursement of Funds

The bursary will be given to students during two consecutive semesters and divided equally for each semester. Disbursement of funds will take place within 4 weeks after semester start date. A reduction of credit hours (less than 9 cr. hrs.) within the semester in which a Residence Bursary was received, will result in a prorated bursary.

Questions regarding the Residence Bursary?  Please speak with the Student Development Department or the Scholarships & Bursaries Coordinator.
