Attending undergraduate and graduate school changed my life. Each day when I walked on campus I was excited to learn and grow so that I could serve the Lord with my whole being. My settled beliefs were challenged and transformed by the truths of Scripture. My skills as a minister of the gospel grew as I studied people and the world in which we all live. I read about and evaluated ideas that were different than my own. I learned from great professors and met people I still count as friends, years later.
After teaching in the Seminary for 22 years, I have seen students transformed in their brief time with us. God does an amazing work as students are exposed to the Scriptures, to each other, and to well-trained and highly-skilled professors.
At Providence you will attend classes with people from all over the globe. Nearly fifteen percent of Providence students have a passport from a country other than Canada. These Christians bring a rich variety of experiences and Christian beliefs to our classrooms, the dining hall, and residences.
At Providence you will study with well-educated, smart, and influential professors. Our professors care about their Christian influence, and they care about you. You will study with professors who are well-educated while at the same time experienced in their Christian faith.
At Providence you will have many opportunities to develop your leadership skills. Leadership is a skill and an art that can be developed with practice. There are lots of opportunities to learn the fine art of getting things done as a team.
At Providence you will develop friendships that last a lifetime. These are people who will sharpen you, comfort you, and encourage you. They will stick by you for the rest of your life.
I invite you to join us in the great adventure of spiritual transformation in preparation to transform the world.
