Providence student-athletes named NCCAA All-Americans
Three Providence student-athletes have been named National Christian College Athletic Association All-Americans.
Sam Bridle, a third-year setter with the Pilots women’s volleyball team, followed up her NCCAA All-Region 1st Team designation with recognition as a 1st Team All-American. She was also named to the NCCAA Division II National Tournament Team in Kissimmee, Florida, where she helped Providence to a second-place finish last weekend.
Another All-Region 1st Team member—left side Danella Alvaro—has been named a women’s volleyball 2nd Team All-American.
In soccer, striker Julika Kehler has capped off a memorable season with 2nd Team All-American distinction. She scored an impressive 22 goals and added 12 assists for the Pilots in just 14 matches and led her side to a NCCAA Regional final and Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference semi-final.
