Graduating All Star and All Manitoba Team member joins Pilots volleyball program
2016-08-31

Adrian Dyck is expecting Providence to “feel a lot like home.”

The 6’4” Left Side, who previously represented the Springs Christian Academy Eagles, signed for Providence on August 24 and, according to Pilots men’s volleyball head coach Scott Masterson, will “have an immediate impact” on the program.

“We are very excited to have a quality player, and person, join our team,” says Masterson. “Adrian brings a lot of experience at high levels of play.”

Dyck, who graduated as an All Star and All Manitoba Team member and won National Championships in the 14U and 15U categories, was also named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team during the 2014-15 season while playing for the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.

No doubt both he and Masterson hope his success continues at Providence.

“I’m looking forward to this coming season and playing with a great group of guys,” says Dyck. “Going to a Christian school will be just like back in the day and will feel a lot like home.”

The Pilots men’s volleyball team opens its campaign Friday, September 16 at the University of Augustana in Camrose, Alberta.
