National Association & Conference Membership

Providence University College is a proud member of the National Christian College Athletic Association Division II. This is an American-based association with 105 schools from across the United States. The schools that make up the North Central Region of the NCCAA are:

  • Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa)
  • North Central University (Minneapolis, MN)
  • Trinity Christian College (Ellendale, ND)
  • Oak Hills Christian College (Bemidji, MN)
  • Crossroads College (Rochester, MN)
  • Providence University College (Otterburne, MB)

The winner of the North Central Region for each sport goes on to compete in the U.S. National Championships, which brings together all the conference winners. All of our teams compete in this association except our men's volleyball team.

The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference or MCAC (formerly CPAC) has a long history of providing quality athletic competition for colleges in Manitoba. Providence has been a proud member of the MCAC for over twenty years and has developed friendly rivalries with many of the colleges in the league. One of the MCAC’s biggest strengths is the fact that it offers a wide variety of varsity and club sports including volleyball, basketball, soccer, and futsal. The colleges/universities that make up this league include:

  • Red River College (Winnipeg, MB)
  • Canadian Mennonite University (Winnipeg, MB)
  • University of Saint-Boniface (Winnipeg, MB)
  • Assiniboine Community College (Brandon, MB)
  • University of Winnipeg College (Winnipeg, MB)
  • Brandon University (Brandon, MB)
  • Providence University College (Otterburne, MB)
