Kyle Guenther’s history in business makes him a perfect fit for the athletic department at Providence. Kyle spent two years as the Pro-Shop manager at the Steinbach Golf Club. He has experience as the manager of customer service at Canadian Tire. Kyle had a short stint as a representative for Wow Factor Media prior to joining the athletic staff at Providence.
Kyle attended Red River College in Steinbach where he received a business administration diploma, and a certificate in entrepreneurship. This additional education helps to make him a great fit in the roles that he takes on as Sports Information Director. Kyle runs the athletics store where team merchandise and concessions are sold. He also manages all student workers, and scheduling for varsity teams and gym use.
Kyle coaches multiple sports for Providence. He is the assistant coach of women’s volleyball and beginning in 2012 he will also be the head coach of both men’s and women’s golf teams.
Kyle has played volleyball, basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer, tennis, and golf. Kyle is very passionate about golf and tennis as he continues to juggle playing both. Kyle is big St Louis Cardinals fan; his favorite player for the Cardinals is David Freese. Kyle is a long time Andy Roddick fan but has now developed a following for upcoming Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic. Kyle is a passionate soup hater who tried soup for the first time as a 25 year old adult (still hates it).
