Martin Ward is the most decorated coach in Providence History. As Martin enters his 21st season he looks for his tenth NCCAA Regional Championship, and sixth MCAC Championship. Since 2000, Martin has 15 Championships and has been ranked 1st in the Nation in regular season play.

Martin grew up in Crawley Town England, and moved to Canada in his early 20s. It was in England where he began to love the sport. Martin has received five Coach of the Year awards from the NCCAA North Central Region. Coach Ward’s areas of expertise are in technical skill, positional play, as well as kicking with both feet. Martin is a true leader, whose character shines both on and off the soccer field. Martin also has his Provincial B coaching license.

Coach Ward is the perfect example of dedication to a program. Not many coaches in any sport stay around the same program as long as he has. It is not good programs that are built from this type of dedication; it is great programs that are built.
